BL&E Fine Jewellery

Savannah Britten-Long

HIGHLIGHT IN YOUR JEWELLERY BOX:
A Victorian necklace that I wore on my wedding day.

MOST LOVED ITEM:
A tiara that doesnʼt belong to me.

MOST INSPIRATIONAL DESIGNER:
The jeweller Lalique for his exquisite craftsmanship. Kate Halfpenny for her dresses

EARLIEST JEWELLERY MEMORY:
Playing with my grandmotherʼs emerald ring made up of interconnecting bands.  It is such a pretty and rather unique piece of jewellery.

WHAT PIECE SHOULD NOT BE FORGOTTEN FROM A COLLECTION?
Other than Art Deco Cartier, it is the piece you felt you absolutely couldnʼt be without when you first saw it. Consequently you wear it all the time.
And of course, the decadent tiara.

GUILTY PLEASURE:
My crystal-embellished Gina shoes - a wedding present from my girlfriends.

MENTOR:
My bosses at Christieʼs for their enthusiasm and extensive knowledge and my husband for his work ethic.

BEST HOLIDAY:
Bhutan. The scenery is simply breathtaking.

WHAT DRIVES YOUR PASSION:
The privilege of handling beautiful objects every day.

DRINK OF CHOICE:
Vodka tonic
